Development Boards

A range of development and experimenter boards which enable rapid circuit prototyping. Most of these hardware platforms are designed for in-circuit programming using Microchip's Flash devices.

Proton Development Board

The Crownhill PROTON PICmicro™ Development System is recommended for developers of PICBASIC applications. Whether student or professional, the PROTON Development board reduces development time and offers a stable yet comprehensive development environment. The Proton Development Board now includes a free bootloader application. MicroCode Loader enables you to program your microcontroller over a serial connection without the need of a hardware programmer.

X2 Development Board

The LAB-X2 board is ideal for use with 28 and 40 pin devices such as the 16F876, 16F877 and also the new 18F252 and 18F452. The LAB-X2 board now includes a free bootloader application. MicroCode Loader enables you to program your microcontroller over a serial connection without the need of a hardware programmer.

X3 Development Board

The LAB-X3 board is designed to accommodate 18-pin MCUs, including the popular PIC16F628.

PICBlock MC18D

The MC18D from Powerlite Systems is designed for use with 18 PICmicro® MCUs from Microchip. The MC18D provides 6 buffered and filtered inputs to cope with a range of input voltages and noisy environments. It has 6 open collector digital outputs which can sink a maximum of 500ma each.
PICBlock MC28AD-16

The MC28AD-16 is designed for use with 28 PICmicro® MCUs from Microchip. It is the most versatile product in the PICBlock range so far. Serial input latched drivers provide 16 open collector outputs requiring the use of only 4 of the MCUs I/O lines.
