Proton Development Suite is a major step in the development of Crownhill's core BASIC product. They have taken the product from an advanced compiler to a fully fledged suite incorporating not only a brand new Integrated Development Environment (IDE) but also a virtual simulation environment, creating what is possibly the best PICBasic compiler ever.

Licensing Reworked

With the Proton Development Suite, the hassle and inconvenience of software registration and activation codes has been removed. It has been replaced by a single, USB hardware license key. You can now install the development suite on multiple machines (for example, laptop and desktop) and just move your USB key. Just plug in the USB Key and go.
